My scent has changed
From sex leather and horses
To mice and dry dust4 -
My poor aching legs
They are keeping me awake
Gargh. Painkiller time.3 -
Winter scents now on the wind;
Sharp and clear and bright.
Dark nights and misty mornings.5 -
No dark clouds in afternoons
Clear bright blue mornings
Humidity lessening4 -
There is hope and despair
We breath both in, out
Life, shake it all about3 -
Water still can't get it right
No soft welcome falls
Stinging stones and bitter sleet6 -
Night sky at 6.15am
Southern Cross hanging in the south
Crescent waning moon and big bright planet in the east5 -
Baby magpie in the tree
Confused and alone
Big world out there, be careful.
