@iserbrown
Me either until I read the post and went back and searched for it.....0 -
I'm also not happy with the name change to Pink Lady, even though I am very grateful for the wonderful work done by BCNA.

Thank you all for your reponses. You've all expressed thoughts that I have had. The way the email reads, it's a done deal. Why the lack of communication about such a major change, until now? Only time will tell0

Not everyone wants to be known as a Pink Lady even though it's symbolic.
I think a survey of readers on a name change is appropriate. Consultative inclusive! Who fell out and why with the current name The Beacon.
To think I was gonna back off for awhile and here they are fixing something that we didn't know needs fixing.
@bcna @Giovanna_BCNA
Or someone on Admin could you please enlighten us as to why the name change.
Thanking you in anticipation.2 -
I'm not fond of the pink lady thing either, I'm not an apple!0

Reminds me of white lady... and we all know where that leads0

Maybe call it “The Lighhouse”. becase it’s a light that guides us through the darkness that is breast cancer. It it’s probably too similar to the beacon though I was going to say it should be called “big hairy balls” as that’s what you need to get through this male or female. Margie xx6
