What pets do you have?

This is my 15 year old girl, Cleo. Hasn't left my side all through my treatment, cuddling next to me when I have been too sick to get out of bed. She just knows.
I had another fur baby, Bella, who also stuck close right through my treatment. After my mastectomy and recon, though, I had to lock her out of the bedroom as I was scared she would walk across my chest. A decision I now regret as it turns out she was also quite sick and I would have discovered this earlier had I allowed her to sleep next to me as she normally did. She passed away in September. Broke my heart.
Both of them knew I had cancer long before I did, sniffing around the area where I found the lump. Bless.
We also have rescue chickens.

@Unicornkisses you have officially made me a jealous as anything. A horse! Drooling. I had to give all of mine up in my late 20's when I got married. Gosh I don't think I have even been ON a horse since and to think I used to make a living breaking them in and contract mustering cattle. Horses have very special souls and one stopped me from committing suicide when I was 21. Very special souls indeed.
Here's a question, did anyone of you notice your pets became rather defensive and protective of you when you had cancer? I am one year survivor now but one of my dogs was really quite agro especially to other dogs. Now she is still a little excitable but no where near the I want to kill it that she was when I was sick.1 -
The attached photo will explain it all at our place. I have three bosses !
This picture shows the first time all have shared the one mat at the same time (a week or so ago).
Felines are 10 and 7, the Labbie is just over two and a half.

This is our fur baby Bella. She is a miniature fox terrier. She gets very excited when we have visitors and loves the grandchildren . When I'm not feeling well she will come and lay quietly by my side.11 -
I love this thread. My life would not be the same without my furbabies. I have one mini schnauzer and another mini schnauzer cross. Betsie and Millie.

I have two dogs. A boofus boy who's just turned nine. Border Collie x Lab. He's very intelligent, gets agitated when I leave the house, greets me like a I'm a popstar and comes with me on my walks. Extremely communicative, obsessed with tennis balls, a power chewer with the softest mouth, reads body language and loves to be in physical contact.
The other dog arrived with my niece and nephew when they came to live with me. She's a 3yo Brussels Griffon and just wants to sit in your lap. All day! She's very sweet, a bearded lady who likes eye contact and a bit of tug-of-war with a dog toy. She's adorable and everyone wants to take her home with them.
