This is nice. When I was going through treatment I used to sometimes stop at the pet shop done the road from the hospital to cheer myself up. One day a little rescue dog and I became friends and she hasn't left my side since....This is Ally a 5 year old poodle cross.

Having a not so great day with Rosie the rescue mutt. Greyhounds don't care if you lie in bed all day as long as you let them up every once in a while for a cuddle

Ooops...sorry, didn't work out how to add photo and message at once - these are my 3 fur babies: Cairn Terrier, Kobe; Border Collie Ruby Rose and beautiful old cat Slinky Malinky. They have LOVED LOVED LOVED having me around while I've been recovering and have been the best tonic all along.

Oh how gorgeous are all these Pets!!!! Yay!!!! Love it!!!

This is Tara, she doesnt bark but howls and sings especially to happy birthday. She is gorgeous beyond belief...the saddest thing for me, she was a casualty of my Divorce in 2011...so my kids get to see her but I don't, but I think of her every single day!

Iserbrown soooo sad, I havent thought about this for so long, but putting her pic up well, have burst into tears. The casualties of divorce...I miss her very much. x

You can't beat the company of pets. Both of our Heelers have passed on aged 18 and 19. Whenever I look at their photo I get teary. The cat Ally thinks she's a pup. Follows us everywhere around the yard. The dogs taught her well.

Aw, I'm sorry to hear that @melclarity. Do you think you'll get another dog soon? I love watching YouTube videos of Malamutes and Huskies because they're so chatty. My dog mostly sighs dramatically.

Cosette no unfortunately,  im not allowed pets where we currently are,so its hard, maybe one day.

Best cat photo nekkid! Mel I would sneak in a little 1.5ft fish tank and a couple of guppies in that no pets scenario. Just put a cloth on top to disguise it and turn the buzzing airpump off during house inspections. If you are in hospital or something or away for a week, throw a little slice of raw sweet potato in and it will feed them for days and days.

Thanks Brenda - he's a funny boy our Slinky...an Australian Mist and very much a canine in feline clothing! He even rolls onto his back for a tummy pat. 14 years old and still going strong.
