@JulesD You can always come here to talk about absolutely anything. There's always someone around with a shoulder, some empathy, some knowledge. None of us want to be on this shitty train, and you've got one of the worst seats... I am so sorry about that.
I loved what you wrote about being the sadness bomb in the room. That resonated with me; I'm so over it (click on my name to read my bio). One of my best friends with a very dark sense of humour says "no one wants to be you"!
Whatever happens you are going to experience the greatest love you've ever known, from your friends, from your family, from your child, for your child.
Get whatever help you need. If you don't know what it is, throw out some thoughts here. This collective hive mind is an amazing resource! We're here for you as much as you need us to be. Kate xox

@Renny2819 Glad you are home & doing well. You are over one hurdle with a few more to come. Know that we are all here for you & the wisdom & strength you will get from this forum is amazing. Hi everyone thanks so much for the support and prayers bub and i are recovering very well from the sugary. Still got 12 section of chemo to go. Havent started yet but the thought of going back to those tired and sick day after chemo alone kills me.3

@JulesD - Medical miracles happen quite frequently but we are never told of them.
Things that leave doctors scratching their heads saying this cannot be possible.
I know of 2 people who defied the odds and the prognosis given to them (imminent death).
One was my sister, the other my daughter.
Their stories are quite different but both had medicos who were flabbergasted by their outcomes claiming they had never seen anything like it.
(my daughter was in utero, my sister was on life support after a shocking accident)
So do not take the prognosis as the final outcome.
Anything can happen to change everything for the better.
My heart goes out to you but I would not accept the 2 year thing.
They need numbers because we ask.
No one knows anything for sure...
