Hi Louise - I would like to join your group as I had tissue expanders put in when I had my bi lateral mastectomy 9 days after my cancer diagnosis last November and hope to have my implants in by November - 12 mths. Thank you Xxx

Hi Leanne, I have had bilateral mastectomies with tissue expanders and implants. My exchange was 18 months ago, and I am happy with the results. At this stage I haven't had nipples created, and am not yet sure if I will bother. I have no regrets about my reconstruction, and must let you know, that the implants are so much more comfortable than the tissue expanders. If I can work out how to put up photos, I will, if not, I will happily email them to you. Love Chris xx0

Hi Louise, I had a mastectomy with immediate DIEP reconstuction back in 2016. Could not have been happier with the result. Now have BC in the other breast and booked in for mastectomy with SGAP reconstruction in 2 weeks. Anyone here had this type of reconstruction? Did you go back for lypo to even up you back profile? How did you go in recovery? I have to have 2 plastic surgeons so it isn't cheap. Just looking for a similar result to my first experience.1
