Hello everyone,

It feels like the month of September is flying by us all. You may have noticed a few technical related correspondences from BCNA recently and I would like to share upcoming changes to the BCNA website in this update. You will also read about recent news items, upcoming forums and content you may have missed.

BCNA Website Changes

Next week you will start to see upgrades to the BCNA website. This website upgrade is part of a wider digital transformation project for BCNA as we continue to ensure we are providing the very best experience for consumers, carers, and health professionals seeking information and support in the breast cancer space.

We are aiming to:

•       Provide an improved website experience, with content tailored to suit your needs, at your fingertips.

•       Provide a fresh look & feel, while making it easier to find your way around.

•       Put members at the centre of our website so you can find what you need, when you need it.

The site will have a new look and feel as we modernise our services and support. Things may be in slightly different places on our new website, but your experience should be easier and more intuitive.

Our new Information & Resources Hub allows you to easily search and filter for the content you need. You might notice that some content has changed. That’s because we are working hard to review, refine and consolidate our resources, ensuring we provide the most accurate and up to date information for you.

You can still access the Online Network via the BCNA website. The Online Network button is located on the top righthand corner of the homepage. Once you click on the button it will take you to the Online Network. No other changes are happening to the Online Network as part of this website upgrade.

If you have any concerns or notice issues with links and functions, please let us know via email helpline@bcna.org.au

Online Network - Password Reset

BCNA recently performed a security upgrade for the Online Network and members were required to reset their passwords. We understand that there were members who received duplicate requests and had to change their password numerous times. There were also members who didn't receive or could not locate the password reset email.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we worked through some of these pain points with you and hopefully your issue was resolved. However, if you are continuing to experience trouble logging into the Online Network we encourage you in the first instance to call the Helpline on 1800 500 258. Trouble shooting over the phone has proved most effective in resolving majority of these errors.

Thankyou again to members of the Online Network who reached out to support others experiencing issues. The Online Network is truly a supportive community.

It encourages people to make  'art' by planning a shape , then
mapping their walk/ride/run using the free app stravia.
Then posting it on socials on 18th.
The goal is to help women realise that there are many types of reconstruction options,
including no mounds. So women can make more informed choices.
You may like to 'draw'  a bra, a bandau, a bikini, a boob- whatever you want.

Look at your local street map and see if you can find any shapes.
