I think the universe is out to get me. Had a tumble on the weekend nothing huge. Got up okay. But as the days progresses I got more  achey and walking got harder than usual. Off to ED just to be sure nothing major.  Discovered a nice big bruise on the back of my hip., Which I couldn’t see. Fortunately no break. Just nasty bruising hip joint took a good jarring. Hopefully I will be fine for work next week because sitting makes the pain worse.

So sorry to hear this, @cranky_granny :(  So glad there are no breaks.  It'll take a while for it to settle, sadly - I hope you can take something to control any pain xx take care buddy

Ouch on the bruising on the hips!
Take care and hopefully improvement will come soon and you can cope with sitting at work!
    Best wishes

BTW I hear your discomfort I had a hip replacement in 2022 - it was an ongoing issue that I didn't realise how bad it had got - a couple of falls with horrid bruising had happened along the way.

It's a bitch that we are not taut and terrific as we age.....oh well, at least I am upright!

@arpie they sent me home with some good pain killers only taking it a night so I don't wake up while tossing in my sleep
Dr said the fall will  have aggravated the arthritis as well

    Hi @cranky_granny
Good that you didn’t break anything but still tough.
Get plenty of rest and look after yourself.
    Take the pain meds.
I recently subscribed to Netflix and have found it great for those days I am fatigued and want to take it slowly.
