Hello. I have been trying to contact my friend Summer (Summerhill38) who was very kind to me when I was diagnosed and had surgery. She is not answering her door or phone. Summer had found a lump and was going for tests this week. She had never had any tests on the mastectomy side until she insisted this week - what the ? If she has been in touch with anyone can you let me know ? I am concerned. Thanks Anne

I had bilateral mastectomies and don't have any scans as part of routine just a physical examination every 6 months of the area and nodes being checked.
Hope she is fine. X0 -
I hope she is ok too.0

Her last comments on the forum were in Mid August ..... (click on her name & go to 'Comments')
I hope all is well with her & her treatment - have you tried to PM her?0 -
Hi @arpie. Yes, I have done so but she does not get any notifications nowadays so unless she goes on-line she would not know. I suspect she is hibernating and working out the pros and cons of anything she has been told. I know she was concerned about the lump. Thanks for the tip on Comments. I am new to this. Anne1

Thank you to all who have been concerned about Anne's post when she was worried about me.
As Anne has said, I found a lump and following an ultrasound I am waiting on the results, should be this week.
I am not on-line often and usually just check my PMs as I am in touch with several ladies personally.
Hope all are going OK.

Thank you everyone for the good wishes. I have good news. The breast lump on the mastectomy side is a "Lipoma-like structure" with "no aggressive features". The Boob Butcher is not concerned and it does not require a biopsy.
We all worry when we feel a lump and it is good to know there is often another explanation, eh ? Best to have it checked, though.
Hope all are well and enjoying the weekend.
