    Oh, this discussion is so inspiring! The photos are amazing @tigerbeth. Africa has never really been on my hit list, but I'd love to see that! Now India really is on my must-see list. I have wanted to travel there for about a decade, and reckon I might get there next year.. Your trip sounds so wonderful, @Stork. Travel is something I definitely love to do, but when I'm stuck in Melbourne, I am in my happy place researching in the State Library, bush walking, running, wrestling with my sewing machine and baking with my 12 year old daughter. Unfortunately, my patience doesn't extend to quilting, @Karenhappyquilter, but if it did, I'd be tempted to copy your beautiful quilt- it really is a work of art.

    Hi Joanne what part of India did you volunteer, and how long  ago 
    my sister and I are going to Vanassri and Rajasthan for about 2 and half weeks,
