i am having neoadjuvant (before surgery) chemotherapy given with hormone therapy as part of a trial to treat my rather large (9cm) IDC tumour and saw my oncologist today for check up before my 2nd of 6 x 3 weekly chemos. Oncologist thinks it has shrunk by at least 1cm already! We are headed in the right direction! So great to get a good result! Happy dancing right now!

@ccasper, that's great! The whole concept of chemo first was a bit foreign to me at first, but it's great being able to watch it shrink isn't it! Kind of satisfying

Thanks everyone! Time to go and pour more weed killer on it on Thursday. It made me quite sick for a week last time, so I know it won't be pleasant but it's nice seeing some results.
