That is so true.
in my previous job one of my ( senior) business partners used to say to me “ don’t bring me a problem unless you have the solution”.
I used to reply “ sometimes you need to talk through the problem before the solution presents itself”.
And later on ( when I had decided to leave) “ Well you can think of a solution too you know”.
