Sitting here at 4:15am (CST) after trying since 2:30am to go back to sleep and finally giving up, yet again... Wondering who else is out there this morning, and most mornings at this time?

my chill out (leave me the f*** alone for 5 mins) spot.

I have been diagnosed 2 weeks ago, waiting for surgery date, problems with sleeping as well, evenings and nights I am the most worried, simply scared about all the uncertainty. Especially if I am on a morning shift, I get anxious because I can't sleep but need the sleep. My mind totally rejects movies at present, so I dug up an old pastime for anxious times: jig saw puzzling, started yesterday on a beautiful scene with sparkling river running over rocks, a church and snowy mountains on the horizon. It felt soothing just looking at the cool running water, especially since around Tamworth everything is bone dry at the moment. I jig saw puzzled, had cup of herbal tea, till I felt really tired, then fell into bed, I did not think about my cancer for the whole time and had a restful sleep. Thank you everyone for posting, it helps not to feel alone,

Slept well in hospital here again. Bit of awake time at 2am for an hour, then land of zzzzz again until 5am. Claire on nightshift saw my light was on and brought me a cuppa......angel! o:)

@"Kiwi Angel" I have also started snoring but I'm not doing chemo !!
i've been sleeping on my back for comforts sake - who knew how much boobs get in the way when you sleep!!

My kids reckon I became the snore train.... while on chemo unfortunately it is still around 5 yrs later ....

@arpie so true and that was definately me last night!! Has anyone else started snoring while they were on chemo?? I have never really snored unless I have a cold but I have noticed I have had a vague kind of congestion feeling in my sinuses and my husband said I have been snoring!!

oh arpie not laughing at you .... JUST know exactly how that feels....

@AllyJay I will ask my g/friend if her daughter still has her cabbage patch babies (she is 36 but has disability her playing age is about 3) IF she does I will do you a deal .... I will send you money for more wool so you can keep up your hobby and postages costs.

Hi again @SoldierCrab , I have never knitted for money...I would never recoup my costs. Even those small bibs take about three hours to knit, and at even half minimum wage of $10,00 an hour, that would be thirty dollars per bib. I'd be lucky to get six and I ain't working for two bucks an hour!! I knit for the love of it and I give it away as a gift. I would be happy to make a few for you as a gift, but not for money please. xoxo

Hi there @SoldierCrab , thanks for the wishes...used up a few end bits and pieces of yarn knocking up these bibs. No use whatsoever, but the look pretty.
