Friday Funnies
So in an effort to begin the weekend with a smile I thought I'd post a picture of something I saw in an antique shop recently.
Never mind about all the rest, when is THIS going to be listed on the PBS?!
And on the reverse:

- arpieMemberFunny about the animals! Can we assume a clandestine meeting with the guy over the wal??
One of the funniest things I ever saw in NZ was a bunch of Japanese Netsuke (tiny carvings, often used as decoration on the Male kimono belt ...... they were in a glass cabinet of an antique shop for everyone to see. Looking up close, I could see that they were all in the most pornographic poses that would put the Kama Sutra to shame! Next time I was there - they'd all gone! No doubt gracing someone's private porno stash! LOLSign in to react to this post - kmakmMemberI've been looking for a small size hand fan to keep in my handbag for the out and about hot flushes. Finally found a couple in a junky vintage shop last week.
This one made me laugh. First of all on one side there's a platypus and an armadillo (native to the Americas) cavorting together in the Japanese/Chinese (not sure which) landscape.
And on the other side, a man and a woman are in a garden where they're being surprised by another bloke climbing over a wall. What's going on?! Anyone know? What funny things to put on what was presumably an export item.Sign in to react to this post - arpieMemberO M G ...... hahahaha (when you follow instructions to the letter!)Sign in to react to this post
- arpieMemberhahaha @AllyJay & @BlackWidow - I am there already!!! I surprise myself now & then, finding cash I've put aside for 'something' - but if i go looking for it - do you think I can find it when I need it?? .... Even chocolate - Keith says I have to hide it, as he can't stop at just 10 pieces .... then I can't even remember where I've put it if I want some! It will be well out of date by the time I find it! - BlackWidowMember@arpie & @AllyJay - my Mother used to hide money and never remember where she'd put it - we found it when clearing her home after her passing. Oh, the places we found it ! All up about $1,000 in all denominations. I find I am doing the same by hiding jewellery when going out for a long period then get into a panic when I cannot remember where I put it. I am becoming my Mother in old age. AnneSign in to react to this post
- AllyJayMember@arpie..I can identify with that. I Have twice the fun at Easter, first hiding my grandson's eggs, then trying to remember where, so I can help him find them!!!Sign in to react to this post
