Hi,
I threw everything at the cancer I got in 2020, surgery, chemo, radium and hormone suppression and still I got diagnosed with metastatic disease 3 years later. I am glad I did all I could. If I hadn't done everything I could, I would be beating myself up for rejecting part of my treatment.
My original breast cancer was hormone positive, her2 negative, stage 1, grade 3 cells, no lymph involvement at all. My ki67 factor was high. My margins were clear.
It is most unfortunate for me that the cancer came back but at least I knew I did everything I could to stop it.
I also exercised, ate good healthy food, did juicing, meditation, yoga, mindfulness and more and I still got metastatic disease. The cancer got around the hormone suppression treatment I was on and travelled via the blood stream, even after chemo. Chemo is no guarantee at all.
