@Tinks thank you, I don’t want to sound negative but I agree....lots of people breeze thru rads, frankly I have found it harder than chemo....my last week has been horrible, I’m still in a lot of pain, and it’s very mucky and yucky. Saw the nurse again yesterday, apparently it’s still ok. I must have very sensitive skin. :'( xxx
@Shellshocked2018_, thankyou. The nurse and I have finally found a regime that works, and isn’t pulling off the skin every time I change my dressing...have got some bepanthen anyway up my sleeve in case I want to try something else, it was my best friend during chemo for split lips.
The only good thing about shitty Coronavirus is my husband is working from home, and he has been brilliant with painting on the cream and putting new dressings on. Everyone reckons once it starts healing it will be quick, I wish it would hurry up! I’m having surgery 17th April, ouch,I’m worried it will still be sooo tender :| xxx
