@TripleTea. Fuckity fuck love. (You guys didn’t think I’d pop in and not drop the F bomb did you) lol. I’m so sorry to hear your news that truly sucks. What did your surgeon say ? And what’s the plan of attack now? Have you had your scans yet? @kmakm has summed this up beautifully. This disease truly is a huge piling steam of shit (I think I may of rubbed off on her at some stage with that comment)! But we will all be here walking right behind you to clean up the mother fucker of a mess you can be rest assured of that. I’ll send you a PM. Big girl pants on again love. So I saw the surgeon yesterday and she admitted me to hospital this morning and today I have had a CT, bonescan and an ultrasound of my other armpit. Tomorrow morning they are doing a full axillary clearance.
I’m still shit scared and anxious awaiting these scan results! If they come back clear she said this is still beatable and we will go for broke(not really sure what she means by that).
I will need chemo & radio but obviously won’t know what type or regime until after surgery and healing. Still can’t believe I’m back on this bloody roller coaster!

Thanks everyone for the hugs, wishes & support. My scans are CLEAR! No Mets. I was so relieved I cried! The surgeon gave me the news just before surgery. The cancer is contained to my armpit lymph nodes. I am feeling much more positive now as I have done this fight before and I can do it again. Different chemo so hopefully it will be kinder. At least there’s a possibility anyway.
I’m feeling ok after surgery and hopefully will go home tomorrow. My surgeon wants me to see a different oncologist this time in Perth (2 hrs away). My surgeon is fantastic so I will do what ever she thinks is best as she is a professor in the BC field and does a lot of research into TNBC and BRCA110 -
That is good news @TripleTea . If having crap in your armpit can be considered good. You know what I mean.
It's tough having to do it all again, but I'm still upright and grizzling three years after being in a similar situation. Hopefully you click with the new onc. Good luck MXX1 -
