The girls in my chemo unit persuaded me to lose the covers when mine was about that length. It was VERY grey/white but they said it looked funky and I should slick it up and be proud. So I did. Not sorry at all. (I did end up dying back to a colour as the growing grey made me feel really old !) In hot weather it was lovely to feel the breeze on my head.

Go for it, you look fantastic.

Love your new profile pic Magicma :)

What a darling little bundle. Looks like he's enjoying a cuddle from Ma.

    Yay Lara!
Looking good, and nice eyebrows too! Mine thinned ALOT, I have about 6 original lashes left and they're growing through slowly but surely...

In this heat, I would love to "lose" my hair for a day or two.  I really enjoyed having really short hair as I always had long hair.  These days I keep it short but evn in this 40 degree heat it is still too long.  Enjoy the moment XLeonie

This was about 4 weeks out of chemo. It's growing VERY fast.

It started growing back while I was still on chemo....Paclitaxel ;)

Your hair looks like mine did, it sort of grew up like pinks. I felt like I had a mohawk going there for a bit then it just started to curl. Now the curl has died down to a wave with loads of body.

Sure did grow fast. Mine was the same colour. Probably had been for years, but I had been colour ing it. I put a colour in as soon as I could. Didn't want to be grey yet. Also would have had to explain at work when I took the wig off how I suddenly went grey. It was bad enough hearing the...did you have a fight with a lawnmower comments. It was all good natured and the people who made them had no idea I had been wearing a wig...it was that good. They would have been mortified if I told them. I just smiled and carried on working, happy with my little bit of hair. It was curly as when it grew back, but is now a dead straight bob again after two years. Cheers to all your lovely hair. Paula :)

    Well girls,
    Australia Day was THE day!
It was hot as hot up here in the Kimberley and we were having a BBQ at my sister in laws outside by the pool. There was no way I was going to wear a hat let alone a wig, so I put on a bit darker eyeliner and my dangliest earrings and just went for it!
If it weren't for all of your lovely encouraging posts I would never have dreamed about going bare.
I am sooooo glad I did and so relieved to not wear those bloody wigs anymore lol.
    Thanks ladies xxx

that's great news Sam, that has no doubt given you some much needed confidence so you'll be able to go wigless/hatless again or wear headgear no more. well done! xxxxx
