Great news. Remember that feeling so well. After that horrible waiting for met scans, then the great news the rest became very doable. Good luck.

Hi Jodie,
Just got home from hospital and saw your post. Fantastic result for you. I have noticed the different in you by your comments here. Even though you are still scared, there is a positiveness sneaking through. You even made a comment 'doable'. That's absolutely fantastic Jodie. See how far you've come. You'll be helping new 'scared' pink ladies very soon. New you could do it. I'll be thinking of you tomorrow (today I should say, it's passed midnight!)
Love and hugs Janey xxx0 -

Its 4am and we are up getting ready to go.
Im so nervous i could vomit now

Hi Jodie
have read your posts & familiar with the journey of fear due to the unknown. But when you read this, it'll be gone & the healing will start - stay strong mentally & physically. I have found that everytime I'm afraid of what I'm not sure of I go looking for the answer. The knowledge certainly adds strength.
Due to my insistance on scans before my lump was removed, spots were found on the lungs. So between the surgeon, oncologist, my husband & myself we decided to start chemo first to ensure the lungs didn't get worse. At 3 mths the sports were imperctible & the largest down to below half. The boob lump was also down to half. Everyone was so happy with the results, we were allowed to take a 2 week holiday I'd booked in Hawaii before this BC journey started. Now it's 2 more rounds of treatment & then surgery to remove the lump.
So in all this, I'm just happy to hear that you've removed the lump because mine does feel like a worry stone. Once it's gone, I know that it'll be definitely on the home stretch.
Enjoy a spoilt recovery time. Cheers Gina
