Great you are able to catch up with family for your birthady, well timed. I am thinking about meeting up with a friend who lives in Sydney, but I won't have much free time, so will wait and see. We do have fun at the conferences, but it is also quite demanding mentally. I usually take a few days to recover when I get home. Looking forward to all of it, see you soon, x Ann

    Yes Ann

I always come back with a brain full of mush and it is spinning as well ha ha. SO much information and so many great women and stories... keeps us on our toes. Not long now!

I'm really looking forward to this ... went and saw the surgeon yesterday - he's very pleased withthe way things are going.  Have got the rejoin down for the 22nd November.  Told him it couldn't be October as I was too busy.  All the pre-op stuff being done before the trip and just after getting home.  It wil mean a quiet Xmas (food wise) but I can improvise - just no Xmas cake or pudding (bugga)

Won't panic about the plane connections yet Ann, I think the girls are working something out - even if I get an earlier flight from Mildura.  Have Nicole as my room-buddy so it's great we are all close111

Gearing up for Oct - got a few things in the pipeline - market and line dancing (I'm a watcher, not a participant) during Country Music Week and Mini F-o-W at the local aged care facility.

Take care everyone and see you in Sydney ....

    Luv Shirl x0x

    Oh poor you Leonie.

I know you will take it easy and gently. Would back strengthening exercises help with your condition, or is it just DRUGS?? lol.

We will care for you in Sydney- we only have to prop you up at the bar, or lay you on a lounge hoho. xxx

Leonie, that's not good at all !!!  Here's hoping your back "comes back" (pardon the pun) very soon.  We'll be like the walking wounded in Sydney, but as long as we have "friend therapy" we'll be fine.  I cricked my knee the other day on the boat ... nothing a handful of pills, a few deep breaths and a few "naughty" words couldn't fix though I must admit I didn't say the naughty words out loud in public, waited till I got home.

Just as well we aren't climbing the bridge while we are there, though it's something I'd like to do but will have to wait till I'm all repaired LoL

Take care of yourself ... you are a precious person and we need your company to party in Sydney.

    Luv .. Shirl x0x0x

Hopefully I can "limp" home on Wednesday. I have tried Reiki, Gp, Physio, Oestopath. Have been doing my assigned exercises religiously, heat packs tense machine and rest. So peeved off. I have to get to Sydney - cant waste the new cocktail dress!! Will possibly try a chiropractor when I get home. Just home 1 day and off to 1770 for well earned R &R for my hubby who has been running a large crew on a shutdown for the passed 8 weeks. XLeonie

Rest up and DO take things easy, you probably won't be doing any gardening for a bit either. I used to have a sore back at times (nothing like what you have) and I found it was my too hard bed. I am sending you daily healing thoughts, and counting the sleeps until the 24th October.

    XXX Ann
