Hi All,
First time to post here. I just finished my cycle 2 of AC. Surgery to follow after 6 months chemo.

3 lymph nodes were marked on Monday. I believe this is to ensure that the surgeon can find them to remove after the chemo shrank them.
I am concerned that the marking was not accurate, because i remembered that one of lymph nodes biopsied (June 5) was not very closed to the other 2. On Tuesday, 3 lymph nodes next to each other were tagged.
I just want to know if any one experienced this? Worry about wring marking of lymph nodes and missed the cancerous one? Or are there ways to find the cancerous in case they were missed while having the chemo? (While shrinking them)
Not sure if I make sense, i just want some peace of mind. I am scared to hear one day that it has spread because the cancerous lymph node was missed.

I know the treating team are doing their best, it’s just sometimes the information is too much to process in my already overwhelmed mind.
Thank you all for posting here.. has been my evening reading and helps me go through with this challenge.

@BC_47 7 years ago the only markers I got were the one at the tumour site. The relied on the dye stuff to show up the lymph glands etc. things have improved greatly even in the last 7 years. My scans showed possible lymph involvement so a lymph clearance was done. You can always check with your surgeon before the op0
