Hi lovely ladies, just a quick question - I have had my 2nd round of AC chemo last Thursday I was supposed to get my period on Monday and I am usually very regular, nothing came and when I spoke to my Breast care nurse yesterday she said I shouldn't get this as they don't want you having your period when going through chemo and if I got it I would need to speak to my oncologist as they would give me something to stop this.
i started spotting this morning so I am wondering, do i wait to next Wednesday when I see my oncologist or should i be doing something earlier.
thanks heaps

Send them an email if you are worried, but if you are seeing your onc next week I wouldn't stress to much.
It's not unusual for periods to continue in some form; from memory--and remember I'm not a medical professional--it might take a while for them to stop. Or they may not. Mine continued through my first chemo.

The chemo doesn't directly target hormones which is why we end up on hormone blockers at the end of it.
