    WOW!!  Interesting site!

    So my area, sadly is above the national 'norm' in most cancers  :(  ....

    If you check the 'incidence' & 'mortality' separately, it may show some cancers are 'under' the national 'norm' ....

    Melbourne CBD is below average MIR for everything but colorectal cancer, interestingly.

    The socio-economic link for cancer and other health problems such as heart disease doesn't surprise me as I was writing for funding based on that donkeys years ago.

    @Sister
    I cannot help drawing a comparison between highly intelligent, highly educated  women and the incidence of breast cancer.

    It just seems that all of us on this forum fit the above criteria.

    We all seek knowledge and understanding of our treatment and we do seem to research our decisions in depth.

    Of course it could just be coincidence.

    I have wondered - of course, it could just be the type who are attracted to this sort of forum.
