Hi all,
I started a new chemo called Caelyx last week for my numerous mets. I had the chemo last Wednesday. I felt good up until today (Monday). My stomach is very upset & I am off my food. Any tips to combat the nausea would be appreciated? What other side effects should I expect on this chemo?
Thanks

Hi there @angg66 I didn’t have your chemo but I found ondansetron the best for the nausea. You can get a script from your gp. But I’d call and let your oncol know how you’re feeling. Be careful you don’t dehydrate with your lack of appetite try and keep your fluids up. I found the mt franklin sparlling water also helped a bit with the nausea made me do these massive burps which made me feel better too. Perhaps you can post on the Mets page and someone there might of had the same chemo as you love ?? Hope you’re feeling better soon. Big hug. Margie xx1
