Apologies for my humour but is my survival mechanism - I too have whopper hot flushes but is my third time thru it all - had them at 40 , 47 and now again in my 60s - annoying but as George Harrison said All Things Will Pass. PS Our heating bill should be less this winter !

@kmakm The first time  was sudden onset menopause after my first child was born .It was a very difficult time with a new baby and a busy career . After 7 years of menopause I had a surprise twin pregnancy at 47 followed by another 6 months of hot flushes. And now at 64  Letrozole  induced hot flushes. Its annoying but life is still good.I do however remember how devastating it was the first time.

"Surprise twin pregnancy" at 47... I think you are the master of understatement there @Romla!

Yes, I am finding the double barrel of a cancer diagnosis and menopause to be challenging, both mentally and physically. I was still menstruating in November. It's going to take a while to adjust.
