I hope everyone here on BCNA are coping in this heat .
I just had my C4 today hooray now to get through the side effects.. I'm not getting the surgery early, the tumor finally decided to respond better after C3 . Its actually softer and smaller though it hasn't let go of the chest wall yet and still attached to the skin and now pulling the skin across from my other breast it might still let go if it shrinks some more (i don't know if my bloods recovering great each time was good or bad) Start weekly on the 1st March
Surgeon says look to June for the op to remove what is left, less tumor will be the best least invasive way to go.
I have been so tired etc not a lot has been getting achieved around here. though I do have my house back to just myself and my grandson all Christmas drop ins have gone and the 6 inch path around my bed has been removed. back to the junk room.
Have decided cleaning the bath room is out of the question. The head spins are just too much and there isn't enough room to put a chair in there.
Awful to say but I am so glad that school is back in. Dealing with a child my foster/step grandchild's ADD & ODD, (his specialist has not approved afternoon medication) can be mentally draining, and the cranky granny can emerge big time. And the heat wow Penrith has topped hottest and the most number of days in January of over 40 degrees and boy didn't I know it. Never have dealt with the heat well since forever, I used to get heat stroke & nose bleeds regularly in summer then I learnt to stay somewhere in the cool and that is what I have tried to do this time, no major nose bleeds but a bit of heat stroke headache and dizzies which the cold shower and doubling my fluid intake cures.
Till next time, take care friends, try stay positive and and relaxed I'll try not to leave it so long in future. Love reading up on all the interesting posts and informative comments.

Sounds like a good time to forget the mess (it will wait, I can prove it) and do your best to stay cool.
Last time I had to do this crap was the middle of winter, which had its problems but at least I could bundle up and get outside for some fresh air and the occasional bit of sun. Now I'm like a vampire, up at 4 am and locked inside by 9 to escape the heat. Which has to end soon, surely. And I live on my own, how you manage to 'granny' anyone in any capacity at the moment is a mystery--good on you!0 -
Hey Cranky, Good to see you back! Sounds like your Christmas was beautifully flat chat. As for the cleaning I'm sure it will wait, but I think I remember some of the ladies saying that they were given cleaning assistance - here is the link to the home help information through the Cancer Council
https://www.cancercouncil.com.au/get-support/transport-accommodation-and-home-help/ - could mean you don't have to struggle to do the bathroom
And no wonder you are tired looking after your lovely grandson - ADD & ODD is a very wearing combination that requires such love, support and discipline. Your grandson is so lucky to have you.
Wishing continued shrinkage for you with your tumor. Xx Cath1 -

That is good to read the tumour is shrinking! The domestic part of life can stay on hold until you are ready or you decide as Cath said to look at if you qualify for some help at home. Visitors are lovely but sometimes we need our own space to come to grips with where we are at and what we can and can't do at present. Can't imagine how mentally draining it must be with the grandchild. Hopefully the discipline of going to school will help with routine. The extreme heat of summer is hard to take when you're not on top of your health. Take care xx2

Thanks everyone. Yep I looked at the floor around the loo and went I'll bring the broom in next time. Just sweep the dust out. But short term memory crap I'll get it next time. The washing down of the bowl etc is easy everything is there the rule if you use it put gloves on and wipe it and spray the g20. Well done we remembered. The thought of the op in winter is good I love winter.1
