Hi everyone,
So today is my year to date since diagnosed, so Tuesday week have my post treatment scans etc. Then off to surgeon. Will be glad to see the end of it all, I have 3 herceptins left and apart from general checks hopefully some sort of normality will return.
Have a great weekend !!
Cheers Jen

Jen,
Thats great! Happy 1 year, hope all your scans go well! I used to dread them after initial diagnosis in 2011, since a recurrence last year Im still on 3 monthly checks between oncologist and breast surgeon, but my scans 1yr on from last year were clear and perfect, so its a great feeling, theyd want to be after chemo Whoa!!!!! LOL We certainly all look forward to a point where it relaxes a little at the very least. I have my sights on after a mastectomy next year uuugh. Mind you I thought it was all well over...hmmm, every time I see the Oncologist or Breast Surgeon, they come up with something new. Living for the day to ditch it all...best out of all treatments for side effect this far Ive found kinesiology to be the best. Hugs Melinda0 -
Thankyou Melinda, it is a long haul isnt it and it never seems to end. I also had brain surgery so lucky to be here my friend, i think with all our treatment comes something else that is so true.
I wish you all the best with your surgery stay strong.

So good to hear that it's nearly coming to an end Jen. I am right behind you. My one year will be on 15 Oct. I have already had scans which show I am clear. And I only have 4 Herceptins to go with the next one next Tuesday. I will be so glad to put this year behind me. Good luck with your scans.1

Hi Jen, That's a pretty good reason for a CELEBRATION!!!! Woohoo!!!!! Do you have anything planned for when your scans, visits and herceptin doses are finished? All the best Xx Cath0

My oncologist said to me I won't need to do scans and as bilateral mastectomy just self exam and breast surgeon review as sceduled 3 to 6 months. Seems different from others follow up.0
