Prosigna testing
Has anyone had gene testing such as Prosigna and how has it guided you in treatment decisions? How have you judged a low risk of recurrence and would you decline any element of common approaches to treatment (chemo, radiation, endocrine therapy?) as a result. Discussion on this site suggests to me that all of the hormonal…

Highly recommend Tracey Scone Wig Library, Darlinghurst, Sydney

The library is not open every day and you need to make an appointment. All details on the link. There is a large choice of wigs, styles and colours. Gloria and…

Iron deficiency
Hi all, has anyone had an iron deficiency post chemo/radio and whilst on hormones treatment. I have not had my period in over 12 months (I’m 42) and find it strange to have mild iron deficiency... especially when my diet has not changed. GP wants me to take iron tablets for 2 months. Oncologist wants to see me... thanks

Bone aches
Well second chemo has not been as kind as chemo 1 but that was not surprise. Having a few different issues this time. I knew there would be bone pain but not sure what level is OK and what isn't. Panadol is keeping it under control but I'm not doing much. Any words of wisdom. Strange to not really know what 'normal'…

Hair loss
So it’s been 2 weeks to the day since my first chemo treatment. On Monday I noticed my hair has started to fall out and 2 days on and more and more hair is falling out. I was at my local shopping center today and I was going to get my head shaved but I found myself over whelmed and chicken out. Any tips on when or where I…
