Taxol

Would like to find out if anyone didn't finish their 12 weeks of Taxol? I am on my 8th treatment, struggling with the fatigue etc.

    I did finish but was very close to bailing out at number 9 - neuropathy not fatigue. What’s your oncologist’s view? I talked to mine - he was keen for me to continue but agreed that he’d be happy with 11. A very good oncology nurse indicated that the stats between 85% of the maximum dose and 100% were inconclusive - 85% may be as effective as 100%. But we don’t know for sure and my oncologist wanted some wiggle room on our side. So we reviewed it week by week. If your oncologist is happy with 10 or 11, you may find enough energy to struggle on.
