Who else can't sleep?
Sitting here at 4:15am (CST) after trying since 2:30am to go back to sleep and finally giving up, yet again... Wondering who else is out there this morning, and most mornings at this time?

- SisterMemberOkay - I had the chemo and it will continue at this stage unless it is deemed to get to an unsafe level. I've got it worse in one foot but I think I have some pre-existing nerve issues in that area. I'm wearing socks to bed tonight to hopefully stop the toes getting cold and bugging me in the middle of the night.
- JJ70Member@Kiwi Angel - ah Tassie. Enjoy Steph. Relax and rejuvenate. You've been through a lot and celebrate the end of that badass called chemo. x
- JJ70Member@SoldierCrab I LOVE Darwin! Went last year as part of our 3 month road trip. Thought I could live there for sure. although obviously went at the best time of year. So gorgeous and so close to Litchfield and Kakadu....God's Country for sure. I fell in love with all the indigenous history through there. x
- kmakmMember@"Kiwi Angel" NOOOOO! Not the wineries!!!! :o

I will post a sunny picture from Darwin ..... look after each other this week girls - KattykitMember@Kiwi Angel have a great holiday.
- Kiwi_AngelMember@kmakm thanks. Hopefully we leave the airport soon - delayed 3 hours so far in Sydney due to heavy fog in Launceston. That’s 3 wineries I have missed out on!! :D
- kmakmMember@"Kiwi Angel" @SoldierCrab Bon voyage! I hope you both have a wonderful break at opposite ends of the country. Do post a pic here. Travel safe.
@Sister Wow, No 9, well done. Champion. K xox - AllyJayMemberHi there @Sister ,,,yes awake through the wee hours again. As soon as the glowing numbers on the clock say 5.00 I feel I can legitimately leave my torture rack (also known as a bed). I too suffer from severe peripheral neuropathy as well as I have scleroderma which causes severe Reynaud's syndrome in my hands as well as feet. The cold is a nightmare as it sets off the Reynaud's which in turn is excruciatingly painful because of the nerve damage. I sleep with knitted gloves to help with the hands and use a heat bag at my feet. Nuke for three minutes in the microwave, and it stays warm for hours in the bed. For me the problem is keeping my hands and feet warm, without warming the rest of me too much or the night sweats leave me drenched, but that's another story.
