Who else can't sleep?

4:15 am here and I've given up after trying to sleep for a couple of hours.  Getting too twitchy to stay in bed.  I can always go back later.
A bit excited today as the bra lady is coming out to see me and I'm hoping to a) find one that I can wear for more than an hour without it hurting and b) get bathers and a swimming prosthesis.

4.40am Lovely husband is snoring and has stinky garlic breath from pizza he ate at lunch...

Ah those are the best of friends ..... She will probably get more enjoyment than you realise out of the experience .... and so will your child who is off to State. 

My wonderful, childless, retired friend who lives miles in the completely wrong direction, when asked if she could step into the breach if I couldn't find another transport option for my daughter, said, "sure...just let me know".  I don't know if she has any idea just how tedious most of the afternoon is going to be but I love her!

Yep, I remember being filled with the momentousness of reaching double figures. A big deal will be made.

The last fun thing I did before all this drama was visit my bff in Perth last October. Spent a couple of wonderful days in Freo. Gorgeous part of the world.

My thoughts are with your both Sister and kmakm. You are both doing some hard yards there. I remember turning 10 kmakm and thinking it was a big deal (the whole 2 digits thing) and was really disappointed when no one else thought it was a big deal and no specific reference was made to it. I think, as Sister said, if a big fuss is made (with as much energy as  you can spare) then you've done the important thing.  

Call in the parents of the other kids going to States Sister. They have to get their kid there right....easy for them to take yours too. Exciting for her to reach States.....!!  Bet your bloody pissed you can't go!

Slept from 10-3. Heard the dull thud of the papers being delivered on the drive and knew it was about 3 without looking....brain turned on and well, that was the end of that.  Sleepy couch time this afternoon will be calling. Going to try and walk the dog this morning after my daughter gets picked up from school. I have a naughty 6 month old lab...poor guy. Does not get any sort of consistent training or exercise. My feet are so sore from paclitaxel....but I will give it a go cos we both need to get out a bit.

Does anyone else remember party line telephones? My grandmother, who lived in Woop Woop West, had one when I was a kid. 
Sister, if you want to go to the swimming, change your chemo day. The world won't end and it's not like they can start without you.
