Who else can't sleep?
Sitting here at 4:15am (CST) after trying since 2:30am to go back to sleep and finally giving up, yet again... Wondering who else is out there this morning, and most mornings at this time?

My Mum never had cancer but she did have surgeries that scared me silly as they were signs of her mortality. I was glad to do anything to help her through those times as the thought of her struggling unnecessarily was not an option for me. Your daughter still needs you - it's just the it's happening that looks different. (Oh, @taboogal - memories have made me cry.) Best wishes from me and give your daughter an extra hug.
