I'm in that club too!! Isn't it SO annoying?? During Menopause I could never sleep either .... so usually have some temase on hand - especially when camping .... I've also tried Phenergan tabs - but usually just end up with a dry mouth. I've tried Melatonin tabs & my sister brought her pharmacy compounded Melatonin liquid down over Easter & I tried it - it did nothing for me ...... I've tried various 'natural solutions' that also don't work!!
However - last night I had a REALLY good sleep - probably more due to the fact I was out in my kayak yesterday, fishing for 7-8hrs (a cast of thousands) .... so was very suitably tired before going to bed!
I wear ear plugs so that I don't hear any 'external' noise - be it my husband's snoring or the birds starting their dawn chorus - as once I DO wake up, I can never go back to sleep! :(
What a PAIN!!!
I haven't read all 23 pages ...... SO ... does anyone have a sure fire method for getting back to sleep (or just falling asleep in the first place) ..... that works???
