Who else can't sleep?
Sitting here at 4:15am (CST) after trying since 2:30am to go back to sleep and finally giving up, yet again... Wondering who else is out there this morning, and most mornings at this time?

Hello @Sister what great news, I hope that you are recovering well after your last chemotherapy treatment.
'Who else cant sleep?' This has been an amazing thread started by yourself @Sister. Can you believe it was on 23 February! The thread has had 10.7K views and 1.2k comments which is over 80 online pages of discussion!
This has been a really great and valuable discussion and I am aware of how much of an issue lack of sleep is for our online community. I certainly dont want to stop discussion regarding sleep but will need to close this thread as Im sure you will all agree it is just as its too long. We have had feedback from members that they can find it difficult to find information as the posts are very long and often include lots of different topics. We are going to be a bit more diligent about keeping posts shorter on track so you will notice us splitting or closing discussions a bit more (don’t worry, we won’t close them in the middle of interesting discussion!)
So that new and current members can find information about how best to manage sleeplessness, Im going to review the posts in this discussion and compile a tip sheet from our online community. I would encourage you to continue this discussion in new threads as I know it’s such an important issue and concern for you. We will also provide the link to the Can-Sleep information from the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre as soon as its available.Below is some information regarding sleep, that I found on Cancer Council New South Wales website.
https://www.cancercouncil.com.au/podcasts/episode-12-sleep-cancer/ - kmakmMember@Sister Heaven!
- Kiwi_AngelMember@sister that’s a great sleep. I meant to try a temazapam last night but forgot!
- SisterMemberSlept from 9pm until 5:30am (with a short wake up at 2am) with the help of codeine a couple of hours before bed then 2 temazapam.
- Kiwi_AngelMemberWide awake at 3am - finally decided to get up at 5 - very annoying.
- kmakmMember@"Kiwi Angel" Not yet. The Magnesium chelate is doing the job at the moment. It's driven the pain down to bearable levels. Unless it's subsiding anyway. I shall come off it in a few weeks and see what happens.
- SisterMemberMy kids named Storm. What we didn't know when we picked him up from the shelter and they were choosing his name, was that there was a wild storm happening at our house.
- Kiwi_AngelMember@finch I had a tabby cat called Tabby so Im even worse than you ;-)
- FinchMemberSweet .... Ours was a white cat called Snowy . We are not that original with names :)
