Music to soothe your soul...or pump you up....or let out the rage...
Following on from the excellent discussion about what movies to watch when you're housebound and recovering, I thought I'd ask about music. What kind of music has helped you? Do you have a "go to" song if you're feeling stressed, sad, angry, happy?
A lot of people seem to resonate with "Fight Song" by Rachel Platten.
How about "We are the Champions" by Queen?
Or "Roar" by Katy Perry?
Beethoven's 5th?
Would love to hear what everyone likes and what has helped you get through one minute at a time!

- Jane221Member@KarynJ, love a bit of Bowie! xx
- KarynJMemberWork was stressful today so the drive home called for David Bowie Live in Concert circa 1987 CD very loud. I needed to hear about those Scary Monsters and Super Creeps and had to believe that We Can be Heroes just for One Day. And after all that Let's Dance, because, you know, Ziggy told me to.

- Sam09MemberTouché ....ladies music soothes the soul 😊 I love nothing more than cranking up Spotify through my iPhone and I have the best little Bluetooth speaker my daughter gave me as a gift, in my gym and dancing around singing. Much to my dogs well I think amusement. But wow don’t I feel happy doing a gym session and the pumping music makes me happy. The best thing about Spotify is you can choose so many different kinds of music to suit your moods or particular songs you like and best of all is free ....
- SisterMemberMy kids introduced me to Spotify a few months back (I'm sure they are now regretting it). I finally have the ultimate mixed tape with music from my past as well as present that can change when I get sick of something.
If I'm feeling particularly belligerent, I go for Concrete Blonde's "True". - SoldierCrabMemberhttps://youtu.be/xcpjSMmWUDw
