I am sure they are thinking that Chemo will magic it all away but dont realise the toll it takes on our bodies as it does that... Bless their ignorance may they never have to know the ramifications of chemo....
Soldiercrab - @Flaneuse Weird. But I suppose it's nice to not know about how chemo works!
- I'm trying to understand that many people have no idea what happens during chemotherapy - even those in my "circle" to whom I explained it earlier on - but I'm SO tired of people asking in emails or calls or face-to-face: "Are you starting to feel better?" - as though each week of chemo is getting me "back to normal". And I'm not even half-way through yet!
- I totally agree, @Joannie, they need to walk , not a mile, just a few steps in our shoes. It is worse when a family member says it, which is what happened in my case.
- I was told that there is a cure for cancer but the governments of the world are holding it back because the world is overpopulated, you really can't fix stupid.
- Wow @stork. Obviously, a lot of anger about the cancer. It's just not fair that she's directing it at you but maybe once she gets her head around it a bit, she may come good.
