That's a beauty.
I am taking pity on him lately.  So here goes - 

Old man boab tree
Some times I feel older than you
You are there for me.

Not as good as yours but it will do.

A haiku for you @"Annie C".

Old man boab tree
He can take the nuts you hurl
Your tears wash the scars

Sleep no more
my body yells
 night time is a living hell

Restless mind the fire burns out
I rekindle it
Stare at new flames with some hope

Parts gone and parts moved
My body is a stranger
I don't recognise

Cold now, doona on
No nipples to tell the tale
So strange that they're gone 

Hot flush, doona off
My body is a furnace
Cold now, doona on

I can't sleep tonight
Windy trees and restless knees
Hot flush, doona off

Icy windows steal my stare
Frozen memories 
Healing pain fragile like glass
