- Many years ago as a member of a writing group, we had to take a word, and then write down a misinterpretation of it. I was given the word "innuendo"...I wrote "A Greek suppository". After a few "Tut tuts" with many of them gawking at me over the tops of their bifocals..."I was told that that was socially unacceptable.
