@arpie That one reminded me of my Mum. Whenever she cooked lamb chops, the smoke alarm would go off. One evening it happened, and while she was madly flapping a tea towel around, there was a loud knock on the front door. She went to answer it only to find a bunch of burly firemen there. No idea how they knew the alarm was going off but they pressed the button for her so it stopped.
