First appointment with a surgeon
So my first appointment with a surgeon is this coming Wednesday. I am going through a public system in Brisbane. Will I be having any tests done on the same day or is it more likely that he will tell me to come back and get the tests done another day ? He’s got my mammogram, ultrasound and biopsy results already.
Thank you!

I went through the private system so my experience may be different. I did not have any further tests on the day. My surgeon ordered an MRI for further diagnosis before she was able to plan surgery. The earliest I could get in was about 5 days later.
Good luck on Wednesday. My advice, is to ask questions, the BCNA website has heaps of suggestions to help you figure out what you want to ask.

Kari210 Everyone's situation could be different but in my experience I had a mammogram, ultrasound and biopsy, and at my first appointment with the surgeon we talked about what we know so far and the surgery plans. He also gave me paperwork to fill out for the hospital so that I would get booked in for the surgery.
He didn't suggest other tests prior to my first surgery.
After the first surgery he has provided referrals for a few things so there's always been a number of days between seeing him and then going to get imaging done.
