Hi Bobbie - well done on the full time job! If you are free Monday September 22, we are meeting at 6pm (flexible) at Feddish at Fed Square. You could come later if 6pm didn't work  - it's a pretty casual place. Let me know - I'll book at table next week. Do hope to see you there! Best wishes, Pam

Hi Wendy - heavens, you're going through a lot, aren't you. But you sound really positive, which is great. I'll count you in for the dinner, but if you're feeling knocked around by the chemo, please let me know. Do hope to see you there! Best wishes, Pam

    Hi all.

My apologies for not being around for a while.  I have had so much going on - with treatment and other things - that I haven't been able to cope with getting on here and managing my way around this clunky site!

I have three more chemos to go, which will be six months done. Yay!  After a break of a few weeks I will begin radiotherapy for six weeks beginning mid December.  This will go through to early February, which will be a year since diagnosis!  I started Herceptin in September which will continue every three weeks until next September.  Then onto Tamoxifen for 5-10 years!! Wow. Full on.
I do count my blessings though and know I could have it much worse, but will be glad when the chemo and radio therapies are over.

Anyway, I see that Pam has organised a dinner for Nov 26, and I have it in my calendar and aim to be there.  That will be a week after my scheduled final chemo.  Woot woot!

    Cheers,

    Wendy

Thanks Pam. Have been a bit up and down, and a bit tired, but really want to come and meet up.
