Great blog:) It's so true about finding a 'new normal'. Glad to hear you have found your way through it. More positive than negative is the way to go. I have stopped putting pressure on myself and am feeling better and more relaxed, just doing what I can to get more energy and taking things as they come. Thanks for blogging and letting us know that what most of us are feeling is quite normal, take care,

Hope you had a good few days on the Sunny Coast with your partner. That can do wonders for your positive energy.

My husband and I have been married for 25 years this coming week. We are taking a couple of days break away to celebrate. Glad I am feeling well again to be able to enjoy this.

Keep feeling better, Hazel. The worst is behind us. :)
    Take care. Deanne xxx

I'm so sorry that you have this ahead of you too. As you have probably already heard, it is very much an individual thing as to how chemo will effect you. I think the main thing is to steer clear of any preconceived ideas and don't put yourself under pressure by expecting certain things.

Exercise certainly helps with minimizing effects but listen to your body and rest too. Nothing matters more than getting well again so be prepared to make this your priority. Wishing you all the best for your treatment. I can tell you that it does go quickly and before you know it you'll be recovering too. Take care. Deanne xxx
