    Ivermectin has not been proven to have any reliable or measurable effect. The media is not making it controversial, people who claim it’s a ‘cure’ for COVID -19 are. Vaccines have been proven to be effective for a century, you were probably vaccinated as a child. You can choose not to be vaccinated against COVID-19 but be cautious about assuming they don’t work when there is copious evidence that they do. Remember, the purpose of most vaccines is not perpetual immunity but to limit illness so that you don’t die or need to be hospitalised.
