Hello
everyone and welcome to our Friday update.

Apologies
for not posting last Friday.  Marianne and I attended a 2 day SWARM
(Australia’s community management) conference in Footscray Melbourne.  It
was interesting deciding which sessions to attend and after deciding that that
we did not know anything about ‘chat bots’ or ‘block chains’ Marianne and I
decided to start the conference by attending a great community journey mapping
presentation!  It was really exciting to meet with others working in the
online space and to share the highs and lows faced by moderators managing
online spaces.   We walked away with some new ideas but also pride in
BCNA’s online community.

Community Highlights

Every week
we have so much variety in the posts being shared in the online network.
These can include questions about treatments, updates on how things are
going, and celebrating milestones. Here are some popular conversations you
might have missed:

Let’s talk about…S.E.X Great
thread that discusses lowered libido and letrazole

Depression, PTSD and BC Another great
thread asking how others are traveling and managing their mental health

Unique family traditions and quirks that make you smile Enjoyable
thread with some great family traditions!
