  • 2 cups (500mL) whipping cream
  • 1 (390 gram) tin condensed milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  1. Place the cream and condensed milk into the bowl of a standmixer fitted with the whisk attachment (or in a bowl using a handheld mixer) and beat until light and fluffy with a similar texture to whipped cream.
  2. Add the vanilla and beat through.
This is your base then add whatever you like. Then place in a loaf tin (or I bought cheap plastic containers from kmart) and freeze for 6 hours or overnight.

Thank you. On the to do list when I am home on Thursday, still enjoying my trip home from Melbourne. No point in hurrying things. Now in Perth, flying back to Broome on Wednesday. Think I might substitute the vodka with rum!
    Take care

@onemargie I make one like this. I add Tia Maria and some instant coffee (diluted with water) to the creams, put half in the bottom of a cake tin, soak some savoiardi biscuits in some instant coffee & milk, put a layer of those on and cover with the rest of the whipped cream. Grate dark chocolate on and freeze. Tiramisu Ice Cream Cake! Addictive...
