pigmentation and scars

Hi there, I had a reconstruction in Oct 2015 using my stomach tissue as a donor site.  I have a scar from hip to hip. the scar has softened but the pigmentation is still very noticeable. the surgeon did say I would have a scar but I assumed it would disappear in time. I had laser treatment which reduced the pigmentation a little. Does anyone have anything that worked to decrease their pigmentation eg skin needling, micro dermabrasion, magic potions???.   would love to have pigmentation less visible.  cheers x

    Good question @unknown. I have bizarre pigmentation winding down the lollipop stick on one of my reconstructed foobs. My PS said that's just how my body reacted to the trauma and that it will fade in time. I'm not so sure... Interested to hear what the folks here say.
