    Dear @Brenda5

Hoping these words help to bring some peace to you at this very sad time.

All animal lovers will be sharing in your grief.

    Anne   <3

TO THOSE WHOM I LOVED AND THOSE WHO LOVED ME

When I am gone, release me, let me go.

I have so many things to see and do.

You must not tie yourself to me with tears.

Be happy that we had so many years.

I gave you my love.  You can only
    guess how much you

    gave me in happiness.

I thank you for the love you each have shown, but

now it is time I travelled on alone.

So grieve a while for me if you must, then let your

    grief be comforted by trust.

It is only for a while that we must part, so bless the

    memories within your heart.

I will not be far away, for life goes on, so if you need me,

    call and I will come.

Though you cannot see or touch me, I will be near,

and if you listen with your heart

you will hear all my love around you, soft and clear.

Then when you come this way alone,

I will greet you with a smile and a “Welcome Home”.

Alas @onemargie Centrelink cut off my New Start and my pension card. They said the stock market was going to go up and we would go over the threshold. It never happened and those shares are purchased with borrowed money in a loan against our house anyways. We are done with Centrelink and will just sell down a few shares to live on and when hubbys super becomes available to use next year we will be able to pay out the house loan. My super which I am not allowed to have as I am only 55 is only about $800 now. Every year it goes backwards in fees. At the moment our share values won't cover the full loc loan. DSP was refused.

Sorry to hear your news Brenda. These fury friends really worm their way into our hearts. My 12 1/2 year old shepherd /kelpie has just been diagnosed with an aggressive mast cell tumour. A staging CT scan was done on Tuesday and they have also found a tumour on his spleen. We are now in the awful position of ether going down the chemo route, or more surgery and chemo. Results sometime today, but not sure if I should be putting my gorgeous dog through this hell.

So sorry to hear about your dog, @Chris - I remember him from your photo 6 years ago when I asked if he was a shepherd.  Ours thought he was a person - am still not over losing him years later.  I hope he is not suffering.  Michelle x
