Hi everyone
i was wondering if anybody could recommend a plastic surgeon in Perth for a reconstruction of my right Breast, I was going to go public but after the experience I had today I’ve decided to go private.

Abetted- Lip Teh at SJOG Subiaco specialises in DIEP reconstruction. I am sure he would do others but I am mot sure. I am 2 weeks post single DIEP and I can't speak more highly of him. Nice man. Great surgeon. Fabulous care.1

Hi @Annetted, not sure if you're a member of the Choosing Breast Reconstruction group but there are a few posts there with some recommendations for surgeons.

I can highly recommend Mark Lee - also at SJOG Subiaco. His specialty is the scarless lat Dorsi - meaning he goes in through the front mastectomy scar to retrieve the lat muscle - so no back scar, quicker op time and recovery. He also does DIEP. I am gearing good things about Ian Timms and also Richard Martens. We have our reconstruction support group lunch on the 30th June 12:30 at The Herdy in Wembley - great to chat with other women who have done it or going through it.
