Hello everyone and welcome to
Friday’s update.   I would like to extend
a warm welcome to all of our new online members who have joined the online
forum over the last month.  We hope you
have settled in and started reading some of our online posts and making some connections
with other community members. As many of our current members have mentioned, it’s
a ‘very supportive forum and you are among friends’.  I see this sentiment repeated in many of the
responses and we certainly do have a great online community!

An update from me; the community
guidelines have been revised and will be posted onto our site shortly.  Some of you may have already noticed that the
‘How and what thread’ is now called ‘Navigating the online community’.  This thread provides practical information
that will enable you to use the online forum with confidence.   Thanks
again to @Inkpetal for writing a lot of the posts we link to.

A gentle reminder with regards to
signing off on your posts, if you are going to sign off its better to use your
username and not your real name.  As you
know the general forum is not private and we encourage members to be mindful of
their privacy.

Pink Bun Campaign

Yesterday was the start of BCNA’s Pink
Bun campaign which is one of our major fundraising events for the year.  Our CEO Kirstin Pilatti was interviewed along
with BCNA Ambassador, Stuart Diver.   The interview was live on the Today Show.  The Pink Bun campaign runs for 3 weeks with
100% of the proceeds donated to BCNA, see link below of the live interview. We
are hoping to raise $2 million dollars this year so get out and visit your
local Bakers Delight to try a pink bun or thank your local Bakers
Delight for the fabulous work they do for BCNA.

Community highlights

Every week we
have so much variety in the posts being shared in the online network.
These can include questions about treatments, updates on how things are
going, and celebrating milestones. Here are some popular conversations you
might have missed:

favourite photo of yourself and why is that?

What a beautiful thread started by
