Then come along to our free Breast Reconstruction Awareness Event on Monday, 26th June at The Commercial Club - 618 Dean St, Albury from 5.30pm to 9.00pm.
Special guest speakers will include Melbourne based Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon, Dr Damien Grinsell and Specialist Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon, Dr David Littlejohn.Dr Damien Grinsell is a fully qualified plastic and cosmetic surgeon who is a member of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons and Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons. He is a pioneer of perforator flaps and renowned for his skill in microsurgery and
innovation in the field of breast and other complex reconstructions.
Dr Littlejohn is Vice President of
BreastSurgeons Australia and New Zealand and teaches oncoplastic Master courses
at Sydney University. He also lectures on advanced oncoplastic courses in
Australia and New Zealand, and has practices in Wagga Wagga.
In addition, women from the region who have been through the reconstruction process will be sharing their stories, and local health and support services will be in attendance. Information packs will be provided to all guests.
